Most of these are quite useless.

extract A poor substitute for aunpack. However, better than nothing for general archive extraction tasks.
.functions The set of functions that I used for bourne-shell-like shells a while ago. There's some good stuff in there.
apod.sh (old) Automatically update the "desktop" image with the current Astronomy Picture of the Day.
wordfreq.pl (old) Count the number of instances of each word that appears in a file.
randwp.py (old) Choose a random image from some directory and set it as the current "desktop" image.
llife.hs (old) Create any possible 1 dimensional cellular automata.
